A new week is upon us! Whether it is a crazy busy week ahead for you or if your schedule is wide open {hello!! What is that even like?!}, we could all use a little help in the meal planning department right?! Let me help you out with my quick, easy, and kid-approved meal plan for this coming week! As always, you’ll find a dinner idea and recipe for each evening along with a breakfast suggestion, lunch suggestion, appetizer suggestion {perfect for those Halloween or fall parties that you’ll be attending this week!}, dessert suggestion, and a couple of side dish suggestions.

Quick, Easy, Kid-Approved Meal Plan for the Week of 10/28. Includes dinner recipes along with breakfast, lunch, appetizer, side dish, and dessert recipe suggestions.

Breakfast Suggestion

Sausage and Egg Casserole – this is a great recipe! I like to fix it in the beginning of the week and then warm it up for breakfasts throughout the week. Sometimes I mix it up and add in peppers and onions, or use diced ham instead of sausage! The possibilities are endless!

Lunch Suggestions

Mini Sandwich Lunchbox Idea – If your little ones like lunchables- they’ll love this fun bento-style lunch!

Appetizer Suggestion

Crescent Pepperoni Roll-Ups – these are a family favorite at our house! They often make it to our “fun foods” menu along with pig in the blankets, sausage dip, taco dip, buffalo chicken, dip, etc.

Main Dish

Monday – Coca-Cola Glazed Ham – This ham is absolutely delicious! You’ll never make ham another way again. We like to serve it with potato salad and then save the leftovers for lunch the following day.

Tuesday – Instant Pot Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta – This pasta recipe is restaurant quality at home!

Wednesday – Crock Pot Sausage and Peppers – Yum! This recipe needs no further explanation or introduction. It’s a classic and one that makes its way into our menu quite often.

Thursday – Sichuan-style Ribs -OR since tonight is Halloween, maybe you’re heading out to dinner before or after trick or treating. Be sure you check out my HUGE list of 2019 Kids Eat Free on Halloween restaurant deals

Side Suggestions

Sweet Potato Casserole – We like to make sweet potato casserole year round! It’s too good to reserve only for Thanksgiving!

Yukon Gold Roast Potatoes – garlic, butter, pure goodness!

Dessert Suggestion

Caramel Apple Mini Fruit Pies– an instant favorite fall dessert!
