If so, CTCMath is exactly the program that you’re seeking!

How it works:

  • Each child has his/her own log in information to keep progress separate and easy to follow for each student.
  • Choose from thousands of online tutorials. These tutorials can be completed in sequence or you can jump straight to problem areas where your child needs additional practice.
  • The tutorials contain a 4-9 minute video lesson that your child can pause or rewind at his/her convenience. The tutorials are in color and contain both audio and animation. The lessons are concise and easy to follow.
  • At the end of each tutorial is a set of interactive questions or a printable worksheet. These activities offer automated grading which is tracked in an ongoing progress report.
  • There is also a printable one-page summary available for each tutorial.
  • Your child will receive certificates of accomplishment throughout the program.
  • Weekly reports are emailed to the parent.
  • Other activities included {ex. Speed Drills- my daughters loved this aspect of the program}.

With over 1,400 concise video tutorials, hundreds of interactive questions, and printable worksheets and summaries, CTCMath is designed to help your student break down concepts and appreciate math in a whole new way.

Each one of the video tutorials is taught by internationally acclaimed teacher, Pat Murray, who is renowned for teaching math concepts in a simple, easy-to-understand way (and in only a few minutes at a time).

  1. We adore CTC Math! My daughter was in private school and they used common core math. It confused her and her grades were not good. Once we started to homeschool we were on the search for a strong, simple, straight to the point math. We found it in CTC Math. We are SO grateful!!

  2. Oooh like that you can see all the steps to correcting errors. That would be helpful.

  3. This would be extremely helpful as we’ve had to switch curriculums several times over the last two years.

  4. I like that we would have access to all the lessons of every grade

  5. We haven’t found a good fit for math yet, might have to give this a try!

  6. This sounds like it would work a lot better for our kiddo who needs a boost in math.

  7. The placement tests(?) interest me.

  8. Always heard of this but never tried it.

  9. I’m strongly considering this for my kids next year.

  10. CTC looks exactly like what I am looking for! This year I will be homeschooling 3 while caring for a newborn and a toddler. I would love some help teaching math.

  11. CTC looks good, we tried 3 other algebra curriculums last year and they all stumped my kid. I been thinking of starting ctc up in Aug. for him, but he hates doing math online. So I don’t know.

  12. We really struggle with math. This looks like a great option. I love that my kids can pause and rewind as needed.

  13. Two of my children struggle with math. I’m new to home schooling and this looks an option that I can incorporate. I need ALL the help!!

  14. We currently are using a free trial offer from CTC Math, to test it out. So far, my children are enjoying it! I like how it explains the methods in an easy to understand method. I also like how if they don’t completely understand it , it will not allow them to proceed until they do.

#2 (But a close 2nd) I love that we have access to all grade levels so we can fill in gaps.

  16. It being online is exciting and it sounds like the explanations would really help my daughter.

  17. I feel like short video lessons would be really helpful

  18. I like how they use a combination of video with online practice. This is a great math program with clear explanations!

  19. I think that the short lessons and online practice would be great for my kiddos.

  20. Step by step instruction and self grading!

  21. What a great giveaway!

  22. I have been wanting to try this for a while. It seems like it would be easier for the parent than a traditional math program.

  23. CTC math looks like it might be a good fit for my son. Seems to have a lot of good features.

  24. I like that the lessons are short and so comprehensive!

  25. I have been looking for something that will interest my daughter and I think this might be it!

  26. We are trying the trial this summer and would love the chance to get a year for my family!

  27. I love that you get access to every grade. It is nice when you have a kid who speeds through one year of material quickly or when you have a kid that just needs to go back to fill in a couple gaps.

  28. It would excite me to see my son enjoying CTC Math. My son really struggles with math, so finding something that he would enjoy would be wonderful. I have heard such great reviews.

  29. The part of CTCMath excites me the most is that it is designed to help kids enjoy math and I also like that it helps to build confidence! Win-win!

  30. I like that all of the levels are included with a subscription.

  31. We are just starting homeschooling our children and I’m not very strong in math so anything that can help is awesome.

  32. I would absolutely LOVE to win a family subscription for ctc math! We loved it and used it a few years back but moved and didn’t have a good internet connection. But we do now and I would welcome it back gladly!

  33. What excites me most is that the whole family could do one curriculum for math. Right now I have 3 kids all doing different curriculum. i would love one that works for them all. Also that it is a video course. I have never done well in math and trying to teach it, especially the older years, makes me a little nervous.

  34. What I like the most is we can get all levels of math with one subscription.

  35. I love CTC math. My grandson had been having issues with math during 3rd and 4th grades. He was getting frustrated and I could see we needed to do something. We enrolled him in Brain Balance where he was assessed as a Right Brain Weak child. As we entered the program, we were told not to do math or writing during the program. We homeschool so that wasn’t an issue. After doing most of the program, we got the go-ahead to start math back. I had found CTC just before we quit math for all the frustrations. I put him back in CtC 3rd grade math. He did the weekly revisions for each semester and got through 3rd grade in about 4 weeks. Same with the 4th grade! He is now confident in his ability, and he is flying through 5th-grade math now! I can’t express how grateful I am both to Brain Balance, but also to CTC to get him back on track!

  36. Would love to try this!

  37. We are just pulling the kids out of public school to homeschool and I think this program looks great!

  38. LOVE CTC Math! No more frustration during Math…at all!

  39. What I’m excited about is that you get all levels for one subscription.

  40. Have heard great things about CTC!

  41. So sorry to hear you have been dealing with unfounded rumors. But let me say, we all homeschool so we can do what is best for our family situation. Taking time off to grieve is completely understandable. I did the same in March/April this year for my nana.
I am sorry for your loss and pray you have found comfort and peace.
Thank you for bringing the opportunity to enter these giveaways! It would be a huge blessing for us to win. But I’m sure it would be a blessing to whomever wins.

  42. I love your blog and am still referring to the conference videos that you so graciously allowed me to attend as your guest! I’m soaking up all the info at my own pace and will forever be grateful to you for doing that for me!! You’re the best!

  43. I’ve heard great things from heather’s blog about CTC!

  45. What excites me the most is that it had the videos and explanation, so that would take quite a bit of frustration away. And I also like that it’s on price for my FAMILY not different subscriptions for each of my children. I have one in 7th grade and one starting Kindergarten.

  46. I would love to be able to have this program! It seems to be beneficial for each learner as they both have different needs.

  47. I have been looking at CTC Math, considering it for next year. I have a child with dyslexia who often gets bogged down with the current math we do. I think the audio visual presentation, the short lessons, the immediate feedback about correct or incorrect, the ability to access previous grades’ material to re-learn/review concepts as needed – I think these could all really help this child.

  48. My family has used CTC Math for the past three years. It is very thorough and customizable if you child needs to strengthen skills or learn a higher grade level. I absolutely love that it is not common core aligned.

  49. My son loves CTC Math. The best part for our family is the immediate feedback. (This means no more doing something wrong for days because Mom hasn’t had time to check math!)

  50. I love that there is automatic grading & a record kept, which simplifies my life soooo much!
