2019 Homeschool Curriculum Expo

There comes a point in your child’s homeschool education where you want them to work more independently, you don’t feel you can teach the topic as fully as they need, they want to be in a classroom with other students, or they just want to dive deeper into a subject like science with labs and more challenging assignments. College Science Prep has a lot to offer middle schoolers through high schoolers and their parents.

College Prep Science is a Christ-centered live online science program for 6th-12th grade homeschooled students with realistic virtual labs and lab reports in a wide variety of science topics …

  • Biology (choose life prep or college prep classes)

  • Chemistry (choose life prep or college prep classes)

  • Physics (choose life prep or college prep classes)

  • Anatomy & Physiology

  • Pre-Biology

  • Pre-Anatomy & Physiology

  • Pre-Chemistry

  • Pre-Physics

  • Forensic Science

  • Biochemistry / Microbiology

  • Embryology

  • Sports Physiology

Life prep classes are standard high school classes and not as intensive as college prep.

Students are able to perform realistic online labs, are given weekly reading and work assignments, keep an interactive notebook, complete several exams, virtual labs, and complete formal lab reports.

To dig in even deeper they offer two day in-person lab intensives nationwide where students can complete 1 year of labs in just two days in either Biology / Anatomy & Physiology or Chemistry at the following locations:

  • Princeton NJ

  • Charlottesville VA

  • Charlotte NC

  • Raleigh NC

  • Cedar Rapids IA

  • Schaumburg IL

  • Indianapolis IN

  • West Palm Beach FL

  • The Woodlands TX

  • Franklin TN

  • Polk City FL

  • Columbia SC

  • Richardson TX

  • Alpharetta GA

Their blog offers great homeschool articles to help homeschool moms and students navigate things like…

  • Top 3 Lab Report Mistakes

  • Top 10 Homeschooling Mistakes

  • Should Students only Take the ACT (not the SAT)?

  • Cadaver Lab – 3 Stories

  • The Truth about College Sports Scholarships for Homeschooled Students

We can all use a little extra help, especially when it comes to navigating the middle through high school years right?

They also have a  Homeschool Moms Science Podcast to help equip moms with what they need to not only teach science but make it more enjoyable for their student. They share interviews with students and parents as well as tips for preparing lab reports and preparing your student for the ACT science reasoning.
