Welcome back to Week 2 of the 2019-2020 Homeschool Curriculum Expo! Today’s sponsor is Summit Ministries! Be sure to watch their video below!
Summit’s mission is to cultivate rising generations to resolutely champion a biblical worldview. Our programming consists of two-week conferences serving students ages 16 to 25 in Colorado, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania. We also offer a semester-long program for collegiate-level students. Our publishing division offers resources for Christian schools, homeschool, and churches. Alumni in our programs are networked around the world with the aim of driving impact in their communities.
We bring the best leaders in America to speak, teach, and write at Summit. Students experience more than just a classroom experience. To say that Summit changes lives can sound cliché but it’s true. Summit’s fingerprints are found on the lives of politicians, business innovators, nonprofit executives, church leaders, and nearly every area of culture.
Culture draws a line in the sand. It says, “Stay on that side where it’s safe and boring and predictable.” On the other side is a life of purpose, meaning, and impact. Summit invites Christians to boldly step across the line.
We teach students to stand for truth and justice in the most unexpected way.
Register your student for a summer Student Conference. It is sure to be the most unforgettable gift! We host conferences in Colorado, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania.
Preparing students for hard conversations they will have in the halls of their schools this fall is so important. How do you know if your student is ready? Rest assured, Summit is here to help students strengthen their faith, prepare for cultural engagement, and earn money for college.
“Years of exposing Christian kids to alternative ideas and teaching at Summit Ministries has taught me first-hand how it leaves young people more confident in their beliefs, and more able to talk across worldview lines. They end up better prepared to give that reason for the hope that’s in them, and less dependent than many of their secular peers on sterile safe spaces free of disagreement.” John Stonestreet, President of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview.
At Summit students, ages 16-25, receive more opportunities for their future than they could possibly imagine as they are:
- Equipped with an understanding of worldviews and a strengthened faith
- Encouraged by a new group of like-minded and like-hearted friends and mentors
- Educated about college opportunities that provide an educational environment grounded in a Christian worldview
- Empowered with scholarships as a Summit graduate and college credit available
- Elated that your graduation gift will last a lifetime and provide future benefits through the Summit Alumni Network
