This post is part of the 2018 Homeschooling Through the Holidays series.
Hey everyone! Happy Holidays! Merry Christmas!
I am a firm believer in Unit Studies.
In my post, The Importance of Unit Studies in Homeschool, you can see just how firm of a believer I am. Unit Studies teach us everything we need to know! Math, Writing, English, Science, History- Problem Solving- and to have FUN!! They teach that learning is a fun thing, and that it is important to learn what you love.
I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ. I love Jesus, and I love teaching my kids about him in every way possible!!
We read books about him, scriptures, attend church, and talk about him all of the time. I developed Family Home Evening Lessons about him-as well as our 24 Days of Christ Devotionals happening December 1-24th!!!
And what better time, to get all of it out of this that we can- CHRISTMAS.
I am a firm believer in Christmas, too. So, I have combined my love of Christmas with my love of unit studies and created a free Symbols of Christmas unit study. In this 7 page unit, you will learn:
- Some common symbols of Christmas, and what they mean.
- Reporting skills; Oral and Writing.
- Fiction, and Non Fiction.
