Martin Luther King Jr Unit Study

While public and private schools take the day off for Martin Luther King Jr Day, we choose to have school on this day, but focus on learning the importance of the day and the work of the wonderful Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

If you also want to focus on teaching your children about the significance of this day, I encourage you to download my FREE Martin Luther King Jr Unit Study.

It includes four pages that will help your children to learn more about Martin Luther King Jr, the Civil Rights movement, and other important figures in the Civil Rights movement: Rosa Parks, Ruby Bridges, and Presidents John F. Kennedy. It also encourages children to think about how they can make a difference in their communities today.
