Well, I did as any good mom does when she needs ideas. I turned to my trusty friend, Pinterest. I noticed that ‘Bucket Lists’ have become popular for parents. These lists give you ideas and activities for you to do with your kids based upon the season. So, I put my thinking cap on and set out to put together an Easter Bucket List for toddlers. I prefer to call them Activity Lists. Something about calling them ‘Bucket Lists’ make them sound so final. So, without further ado, I present to you this Easter Bucket List  Activity List for Toddlers.

Most of these activities have some learning aspect associated with them, but some are just plain fun Easter activities. Below you’ll find a list of some of the activities that aren’t self-explanatory with hyperlinks to the original source so that you won’t have to reinvent the wheel.

Egg Sorting – I love the idea of hiding eggs and having kids find a specific color based on a bucket color that they have. I also love this egg sorting into a nest idea.

Resurrection Garden – I love this idea and I think it would be fun to have your toddler help spread the dirt and watch the grass grow.

Glowing egg bath – Place small glow sticks from the dollar store inside the same color egg and play with them during a dark bathtime.

Resurrection Rolls – I love this idea, but don’t have the time to make it from scratch, so I would probably use store-bought crescent rolls.

Make an Easter Basket for someone – There are so many ideas on Pinterest for Easter basket ideas for teachers, friends and neighbors. Have your toddler help you put one together and deliver it as a fun surprise.

Egg Stamping – There are so many ideas for stamping and this is an easy idea for toddlers! You can use plastic eggs, sponges or potatoes!

Make an Easter Planter – This is one of my favorites!

How about some Easter-themed printables  to add to your homeschooling lesson plans for the next couple of weeks?

That would be great, wouldn’t it? Your kids would love it, and all you have to do is print out the pages, no planning necessary! Double score!
