Share the Love 29 Day Kindness Challenge for Kids

With Valentine’s Day only a few weeks away, love is definitely in the air. As a mother, I want my children to realize that love should be celebrated, and it should be celebrated more than just one month out of the year. I try hard to make sure they realize that love is about more than hearts, flowers, and chocolate. Showering our friends, family, and even random strangers with love should be encouraged all year round.

Let’s set a precedence for this by declaring February Share the Love month and focus on doing an act of kindness each day of the month. Acts of kindness will show love better and bring much more joy to our children and to others than a box of chocolates ever will.

Share the Love

I’ve put together a 29-day calendar {yes, this year is leap year} with an act of kindness your child can complete each day. Depending on the age of your child and the act, some days might require your help. My prayer is that your child and each person they touch with an act of kindness this month will be greatly blessed by the experience.

You can download your own Share the Love Kindness Calendar by clicking here.

My family is so excited to take this challenge this year and we hope many fellow homeschooling families will join us. If you plan to take the challenge, will you leave a comment and let us know. We are starting a list of all families taking the challenge so that we can add them to our prayer list for the month.
