My daughter, Emma, is obsessed with penguins. She collects them – ornaments, stuffed animals, clothing, key chains. She reads about them. She colors pictures of them. You get the picture, right? When she was younger, we did a penguin-themed unit study every year. Now that she’s older, I get to share my ideas with you. Her 6th grade self says she’s too old for paper bag penguins and such.
