Wow, I cannot believe that Christmas is knocking at our door especially since Fall was supposed to stick around a bit longer. Here in Northern Ontario, we have already experienced snow in October and some places have enough snow to build a pretty decent sized snowman. Seeing that my preschooler J now thinks that because there is snow it means winter and if its winter, then it must be time for Christmas trees, I will be sharing a mini printable that I have created for the season. This printable is based on the book The Pine Tree Parable.

The Pine Tree Parable

Pine Tree Parable Math

In the Math portion of the mini kit, you will find simple counting exercises as well as a set of counting cards from 0-9.

This section also includes size sorting that should be done from left to right in order to further develop reading skills as we read from left to right.

Pine Tree Parable Literacy

This portion of the kit has upper and lower case matching. You can simply lay the cards a few at a time and match the cases or you can work with all of them at the same time.

You can also use these cards to play Go Fish.

There are also tracing pages for horizontal and vertical line practice as well as cutting pages.
