I am excited to share with you today twelve Bible verses that I hope will be a source of encouragement to you in your homeschooling journey this year. I’ve chosen these verses – one for each month of the year if you so choose to use them that way – that you can meditate on and maybe even memorize so you will have them in your heart at all times. I know what a blessing scripture memorization has been in my life, especially on those tough homeschooling days where I’ve needed to pull out a tucked-away verse in my heart so that I can make it through the rest of the homeschooling day. I’m sure I’m not alone on this, and as I made up this list of verses, I thought it would benefit other homeschooling moms to have these as well for their homeschooling journey. So I want to share these twelve Bible verses with you, and I pray that they will be an encouragement to you and your homeschool.

What a blessing we have been given to be able to homeschool our children! It’s precious time we have to educate them, and most importantly, to mold their hearts for the Lord Jesus. We cannot do it alone. We need the strength that comes only from the Lord our God. Daily time in His Word and communicating with Him in prayer are necessities for us homeschooling moms. It is my hope that you will also arm yourself with these verses for those tough days that we are bound to encounter. Be prepared my friends! And may God’s grace (His empowering Presence) abound in you abundantly!

Walking in His Grace,

Laurie

  1. I’M SO GLAD I FOUND THIS SITE AND THESE 12 VERSUSES FOR HOMESCHOOLING MOMS. THESE VERSUSES WILL BE A COMFORT IN TIME OF TROUBLE. I AM A GRAMMA WHO IS PLANNING ON HOMESCHOOLING MY 8 YR OLD GRANDSON. I HAVE LEGAL CUSTODY OF HIM. BUT TAKING THIS FIRST STEP OF REMOVING HIM FROM PUBLIC SCHOOL AND KNOWING I’M RESPONSIBILE FOR HIS EDUCATION IS ALITTLE SCARY. i HAVE TO REMEMBER WHO IS IN CONTROL AND KNOWS ALL THINGS.

    1. May God bless you Michele as you homeschool your grandson! I agree with you in that it is a little scary. I removed my daughter when after her freshman year of high school – phew, talk about scary! But she did absolutely fine and when she graduated from our homeschool, I had the honor of presenting her with her high school diploma. Hang in there…you can do this! She will be graduating college in May with a degree in Christian Elementary Education. I’ve homeschooled our son since the beginning. He will be finishing up 8th grade this homeschool year.

You are so right about remembering Who is in control and knows all things. Just keep surrendering your homeschool into the capable hands of God and trust His leading for how to homeschool your grandson.

      Many blessings,
      Laurie

  2. Thank you for posting these Bible verses. They are very encouraging to me, especially when most of my extended family cannot comprehend why we are homeschooling our son.

    1. You are so welcome! I am so glad they are an encouragement to you! Hopefully, as you get into your homeschooling journey, your extended family will see the many benefits as they see your son’s progress. Praying for you!
